Amici Press

Amici Press was born of total happenstance. After a publishing deal fell through regarding'1500', the author decided to self-publish instead. Though reluctant to travel that route initially, a GoFundMe campaign had been started to cover some of the costs the former publisher was unable to address as a small, independent outfit. Many friends and family contributed and thus , when the decision was made to self-publish, a small press was named in their honor. With time other projects have been initiated that fall under the umbrella of Amici Press, many of which you can see below and purchase from our website in the'Shop'section.

We hope you enjoy seeing Venice through his eyes, and that it gives you an appreciation of this magical place, not only as a destination that millions of tourists visit every year but also as someone's home. Happily, even though Bobo is an adopted dog that has seen more than his fair share of misfortune in life, he eventually ended up in a loving family and a beautiful city. He meets people every day from all over the world who shower him with affection and warmth.
